Of a Different Kind...
Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, pornography and gambling,
All these things are proven addicting,
Add one more to this list,
For this one surely exist.
The computer game compulsion,
Is surely a form of addiction,
Of a very different kind,
Not consider such, by the blind.
While there are programs for treatment,
For those other addictions' management,
Clinics, centers, patches, and groups,
Are there to help addicts to cope.
No such thing for addicts of gaming,
Which is a very, very sad thing,
For this addiction, I must insist,
Really, really does exist.
