Doubts

My thoughts wander aimlessly,
like the searing pain in my head,
my heart thunder ceaselessly,
your words sear my thoughts,
with utter disbelief...
my eyes sting with tears,
which I allow to freely flow,
as my feelings, I let go,
crying like there's no tomorrow,
my tears washes away my sorrow,
now, for you, I am ready,
with reason, to you, I can say:
"why have you lied to me?"
then, and only then, will I be,
free to hear what you say,
my doubts, notwithstanding,
does not affect my feeling,
what I feel is still so real,
now stronger than ever!
