against the French army...
the date is observe,
in the US it is preserve,
a Mexican heritage,
of pride and of courage...
in the 1862 Battle of Puebla,
lead by General Zaragoza,
it seems unlikely,
to defeat the French Army...
yet, the Mexicans' prevail,
and the French fail,
so that day in history,
is commemorated today!
