Sensory Overload

Of the Information Age

I

Now, sitting with your family,

talking about your day,

is not as exciting,

as it is with gaming.

II

Now, it's not enough,

reading a book is tough,

"why don't we go see,

what's on home box office movie?"

III

"Gee! it's exciting,

reality tv we're viewing,

men and women bungee jumping,

free falling from tall building!"

IV

The internet, too, provides,

every sensory delight,

making further interruption,

to family interaction.

V

Due to this overload,

that internet upload,

which kept family members busy,

affecting bonding with family.

VI

Then we wonder

why our society suffer,

from all moral ails,

when we help family fails.
