Be You

You are the only one,
unique person you can.
You must strive to be,
the best "you" only.

Never loss your unique status,
by wanting to be famous,
make being you, your focus,
you can, if you choose.

Your being who you are,
builds you up by far,
than striving to be a star,
clad in fur, riding a fancy car.


While you care for others,
let such care, not interfere,
with your love for you,
this, you simply must do.

First, be you for you,
so you can be of service,
to others who have less,
when the need arises.

Accept yourself,
Respect yourself,
Love yourself,
Then, others will, too!
